Internationally certified compostable with the DIN CERTCO Institution in Germany. There are 100 individually wrapped, 200mm long straws in the dispensing box, with a perforated tab on the box to gain easy access to the straws, which are individually wrapped in paper for better hygene, blue in colour with green stripes to indicate that they are compostable. These straws are ideal for normal cool drinks, fruit juices and light smoothies. The straws are made from natural products such as PLA and PBS. These straws decompose back to natural elements such as CO2, water and biomass. Bonnie Bio compostable straws do not become the toxic micro / nano plastics that conventional plastic disposable gloves become and if you recycle (conventional plastic disposable straws cannot be recycled, where as compostable straws can be), please dispose of the straws in the organic waste stream (food, garden cuttings etc).
